Anilin Dye, LIQUID, SunburstSet 3x100ml

This set contains the three basic colors in liquid "ready-to-go" form for creating a vintage Burst finish at a discounted set-price.

Vintage (Gibson) guitars of the "golden age" were finished using ANILIN DYES that were solved in nitro solvent and added to the lacquer for creating a sunburst finish.

We offer this vintage style dye for the engaged replica-maker who wants to use vintage correct materials.

As solving vintage-style anilin dye powder can be a bit tricky (and messy) we offer for the lazy luthier who wants to save time and mixing-issues LIQUID anilin dyes, ready-to-go out of the bottle.

This is the same anilin dye we offer as powder, just solved in NC lacquer solvent and filtered and filled up.

Comes in 3x100ml (3.38 fl. oz) PE-bottles, heavy cut/concentrate, you can mix all our anilin dye-colors for getting your desired look.

You will get the followig colors as liquid dye for yielding the given colors as you can see from the pics:

Color Code 9999: Cherry Red

Color Code 8845: Canary Yellow

Color Code 8815: Dark Brown

Depending on the color-mix and your finishing-attitude this set is good for the finish of 10 sunburst jobs.

Caution: unlike some other (modern) Anilin dyes this vintage-style product fades when being exposed to UV, esp, Cherry Red fades well! No issue but a feature, just like the vintage stuff.
