This easy-to-use GUITAR NC POLISH+ was introduced to us by Savantguitars and is (to us) unique: properly applied this final polish+sealer makes the guitar mirror-like shiny and gives an additional hard protection to the lacquer, necks feel ultra "fast".
Specially formulated for vintage NC lacquers, but works great on all other kinds of finishies/lacquers.
GUITAR POLISH+ is to be used as the last final kick in your process of polishing and protecting a guitar top coat (cleaning -> scratch remove -> polishing -> Polish+), but can be used directly after the cleaning process. No abrasives, silicon free.
Coats your guitar with a clear, hard and mirror-like finish
Minimum effort: a few drops per treatment is enough
Contains no abrasives, wax, oil, grease, acrylic, Teflon or Silicon
Key ingredient is crystal clear carbon, same element found in diamonds
Once air cured, hard as glass
Safe for clear coats (as well as any other non-porous surface)
Protects against various issues like tar, sap, rust, corrosion, dulling, permeation, scratches - and bird dropping,
Comes in a 100 ml / 3.38 fl. oz. bottle, as this has to be applied thin a bottle lasts for the final polish of approx. 20-25 full guitars. Use in warm environment, for best results let some sunlight (UV) touch the polish before removing the "dust" (see instructions below).
How to use:
1. Apply some drops of POLISH+ onto the finish (or on a piece of cloth) and spread over the finish by wiping lengthwise (not circular) untill the finish is fully covered.
2. For best results expose the guitar to sunlight (UV) for some minutes, leth the liquid polish/sealer dry fully through on top of the lacquer. The formerly liquid film turns into a dusty (dry) coverage.
3. Use a piece of cotton cloth or micro-fiber cloth and rub off the "dusty coverage" lengthwise (not using circular movements).
4. Be carefull: the guitar not just shines like a polished mirror, but may be as slippery as wet glass.
5. Done.
