Not well received by the LP-community, but apart from Honduran Mahogany Gibson used for their 1950s Les Pauls other mahoganies sourced from Africa: Sapeli and Khaya

While Sapeli is softer Khaya (Khaya ivorensis) is the closest "cousin" to Honduran mahogany.

Here we offer one Khaya Bodyblank, 1-piece, excellent wood, good for a vintage Les Paul-style body.

The blank is oversized regarding all dimensions and needs a bit further thicknessing (comes in  45mm thickness).
