Linseed Oil (boiled), artist grade, var. sizes

Finest boiled LINSEED OIL, twice coocked, filtered, kobalt-free and ready to use; this comes from a traditional German company that makes special colors and paints for artists (no refilled stuff from homedepot).

Used for mixing a sealer for the wood at the beginning of the French polishing process before pore filling, it´s light brown color enhances the wood figure. This is the stuff that was traditionally used as the base for a high grade French polish. For this the bolied linseed oil has to be mixed 1:1 with terpentine for deep penetrating the wood. 10% addition of pure Orange oil makes the oil penetrating the wood even better (and less "smelly"). Works great as a sealer before starting a NC finishing job, too.
Let dry fully before going on with pore filling and applying the shellac or lacquer coates.

For making a vintage correct LES PAUL replica you need boiled linseed oil for mixing the oil based filler (for this you need additionally NC lacquer and finest 4F pumice; vintage Gibson-recipy on request).
The 500ml bottle is good for mixing the oil based filler for approx. 6-8 guitars (depending on how "generous" you are working with the final product).
