This old VIOLIN backs comes from the heritage of a German luthier who retired in 1986, wood dates back most probably to the early-mid 1980s.

- pre 1986 wood, Bosnian Maple (acer pseudoplatanus) for VIOLIN

- 30+ years airdried and ready to work with after acclimatisation in your workshop

- highest flamed piece, wedge cut

- no issues: what might look colored from the pics is caused by the long stocking
  period and will sand off completely, resulting in an excellent and clean top
