Pernambuco Jumbo set

Pernambuco is THE traditional wood of first choice for making bows for stringed instruments, as this wood has a high density and therefore a for bow making desired high "sound speed".

This is a rare set of Pernambuco (real Caesalpinia) from a trade we made for spruce tops: the luthier himself got it in 2011 as an old stock set, Jumbo sized and free of any cracks.

The - hard to see - thin (inner) line indicates a standard D-size, set is good for any Jumbo size (other template/thick line shows an oversized J-200 pattern).

Sides are 150mm (>5.9") wide.

Backs and left side are planed, right side is still raw from sawing.
