Caucasian Walnut can yield a burl figure that is highly sought after for veneering furniture, botanically from the same family (Junglandaceae) as Claro or Black Walnut, but being a separate species (Pterocarya fraxinifolia) that is native to the Caucasian region and usually not being processed into tonewoods.

Here up for sale is a Jumbo sized set that is quartercut, nice contrast figure. slightly sanded (therefore some sawing marks are visible), defect free and a rare find.
