For those who want to add a distinctive character to their project: this is technically excellent wood, just like you know from uniformly blackish boards, but with a wild look.

Although being an eye-catcher, these boards are a moderately priced: use our ebony stain and you will result in a full black board for low $$$.

All our African Ebony fretboard blanks are steel-sting sized and fit also classical guitars as well as all (regular) electric guitars.

Wood dates back to 2013, fully airdried and ready to use (after acclimatisation in your workshop).

Hint: even the lighter colored or striped ebony boards you can "tune down" to a fully black look by using our black ebony oil-stain for fretboards.
