Nitrozellulose Lack, hochglanz, vintage-style

We are exclusively distributing Savantguitar´s custom-made high gloss NC lacquer: after being disappointed by available NC lacquers (most are loaded with plastinizers and are far pre-catalyzed) or/and do not become hard enough SavantGuitar got it´s custom-lacquer formulated by a small German company.

This is tuned to be vintage-style, what means that this lacquer yellows and can crack according your individual environment and involved parts (we cannot guarantee cracking).

The plastinizer content was reduced to a vintage-level (all NC-lacquer incl. the vintage ones from the 50s had plastinizers mixed in, otherwise the finish would have flaked off), the only disadvantage is that this custom lacquer is not PVC-safe, so be carefull with your guitar stands (the foam protection of these often are made using PVC); if this vintage style lacquer gets in contact with PVC last will result in issues in the lacquer that you cannot polish out (full refinish of the "destroyed"part is needed).

This lacquer contains _no_ UV-protective materials, therefore it ages and ambers when being exposed to UV. 

This lacquer comes as a quite heavy cut/concentrate, you have to thin it with regular NC lacquer solvents (or Aceton) for setting according your spraying equipment.
The 1000 ml can should be a sufficient quantity for spraying at least 1 full guitar (body + neck).

Use it the same way other NC lacquers you kow, for best results allow before buffing to high gloss 10+ days (after the last spraying course and sanding) for curing. For buffing use regular buffing compounds just like you know from this kind of job.
