Anilin Beize, Pulver, 2,5 - 3 gr.

Vintage (Gibson) guitars of the "golden age" were finished using ANILIN DYES that were solved in nitro solvent (or alcohol) and added to the lacquer for creating a sunburst finish.

We offer this hard-to-source vintage style dye for the engaged replica-maker who wants to use vintage correct materials.

Comes in approx. 2.5 - 3 gr. (approx. 0.1 oz) lots, good for converting into 100ml (3.38 oz) concentrated dye for mixing or using directly to the NC lacquer.

Solves best in NC thinner/solvent or alcohol spirits like 99.9% Ehtanol, does not solve well in Aceton.

After solving there might be some residues left on the bottom of the bottle you used for the solving process: this is not an issue but common with vintage dyes, use a screen for clearing.

Hint: unlike some other (modern) Anilin dyes this vintage-style product fades - esp. Cherry Red -  when being exposed to UV! Just like the vintage stuff...
