vintage Fretwire set (small tang)

Modern fretwire has a comparably (wider) fret tang and is made from an harder alloy than the vintage stuff was made. We found excellent European made fretwire according vintage specs, even the material is from the right vintage soft alloy. 

Offered here as a FRETWIRE SET with vintage sized slim tang (0.5mm width) and vintage crown (2,5 x 1,2mm), 12% soft German silver.

22 +1 pieces, pre-bend, cut oversized reg. length from lage roll; will not fit well modern 0.6mm wide fret slots (= will not fit well all pre-cut fretboards from regular luthier supplies, these all have modern wide fret slots).

If you have a modern-sized fretsaw with 0.6mm kerf you can grind it down to 0,5mm width for a vintage fretslot width.
