Pickguard + Jack Template, vintage 58 shape

Vintage Flying V´s were equipped with a 4-ply pickguard, either B/W/B/W or W/B/W/B can be found on 1958 Flying V´s.

Save money and make these yourself, using our Pickguard and Jackplate routing templates:

- precisely lasered
- all holes for mouting screws, right bridge post and toggle+pot holes are done
- material: 5mm birch multiply

During our research reg. vintage 1958 Flying V´s we camt to the conclusion that most probably two different sizes (diameter) of the jackplate were used: 43,8mm and 47,2mm. This set contains both sizes... your choice.

Center holes of the jackplate templates were done for pointing the center onto the plastic and drilling up.
Tip: You can use a screw through the center hole for securing the plastic to the template before routing flush the outline, then drilling up the center hole to the size of your choice (US imperial Switchcraft or Asian metric type).

Vintage tip:
The 4-ply pickguard was done with a 30° bevel and the 4-ply jackplates were cut with a 45° bevel.
