3/32" Bohrer

The side dots on vintage Gibson guitars require a 3/32" diameter drill bit.

Hard to find in "metric Europe & Asia" but here you go:

- 3/32" (2,38mm) drill bit, 2 1/4" length, 118 degree tip

- speed steel, titanium nitride coated

Tip: in case you want to save money and want to punch your own (pearloid or tortoise) side dots: you can use the bottom of the drill (bit placed vice versa into a drill press) for punching your home made side dots of exact the same diameter. For this just grind the bottom side at a slight angle (off 90degr.) and you can punch within seconds your side dots from stock material (i.e. thick picks).
