Subject says it all: routing template for a 1959 Les Paul pickguard, lasered from 6mm birch multiply.

Distance between pick-ups is 40,53mm (1.596").

Holes are done for metric wood drills with sharp tip, set to 2.5mm (1/10") for pointing.

Some info about the vintage "making of":

In the 1950s Pickguards were always routed, back plates were punched, jack plates were punched, finger board inlays were punched and also rhythm/treble rings were punched.
If you look on the edge of '50s back plates you will see an angled edge, this
face shows typical punching characteristics, ie around 1/3 shear and 2/3s
break. The tool was repaired/modded in the later '50s and the control
cavity plate was increased in size by around 1/16th'' on the bottom edge only.
The tool appears to have been re-assembled upside down, as the new
plates had the shear angle running the opposite way (it could have been a completely new tool, too).
